Derek Stanley
1963 - 2007
Derek Stanley, 44, was raised in Bruce, Wisconsin. He died June 21st in Denver, Colorado, surrounded by close friends and family. Derek was a husband to Sonya; father to Ryan, Megan, Zoe, and Madison; son to Neil and Nancy Stanley; and brother to Nathan, Cheryl, Bethany, and Jason. Derek had a lust for life and brought joy to everyone who knew him. He had a sheer passion for conversation, music, art, and an infectious sense of humor and wit. The pursuit of knowledge was his passion, but most of all, he had a fierce love of his family and friends. Derek spent his life building and creating. He was an accomplished artist, architect, musician, wine connoisseur, world traveler, and a devoted husband, father and brother. He will be truly missed.
